Bob Bradley is one of the finest presenters I have seen. He is very well attuned to the class and adroitly manages those who don't know how to behave in such a setting. He answers questions clearly and keeps the class focused. His examples are germane and often humorous. Not only is his presentation style invigorating, his material is well organized and comprehensive.

On Monday & Tuesday of this week I attended the "Writing Winning Proposals" workshop developed by Bob Bradley from Louisiana State University's Center for Energy Studies. I had never met Bob Bradley before this workshop, but thought I'd give you some feedback on his presentation.

I know that the (sponsor) office has been subsidizing this workshop, and wanted to let you know that your money is being well spent. We had close to 40 attendees at the workshop, including several economic development specialists from different counties, four representatives of .tribes, government employees, and several representatives from nonprofit organizations. We even had one attendee from, North Dakota who drove 600 miles (in the winter, no less) to attend this workshop.

I've attended many two-day seminars over the years, but Bradley's presentation and material definitely made his seminar one of the best I've ever attended. Bradley's teaching background clearly comes through in his presentations. He is a master at keeping his audience engaged, and knew when to speed things along, and when to break the audience into small groups to work on projects that illustrated his main points, Bradley also constantly asked the attendees for examples from their own experiences, and ensured that everyone felt like they were part of the discussion. Bradley also had many personal examples from his years of grantwriting experience that he used to clearly illustrate his main points.

The registration fee for this high-caliber workshop is a tremendous bargain. I've often attended two-day workshops on computer or management issues that are provided by national seminar groups. The nationally-franchised workshops usually cost five times more than Bradley's workshop, and aren't nearly as well-presented or informative. Bradley's two-day workshop was packed to the gills with information and approaches that could be immediately applied to grantwriting--no fluff.
